Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip
- 1 can chick peas, rinsed
- ½ cup hot sauce (Franks or other)
- 2 cups shredded organic chicken
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of water
- ½ cup cheddar cheese (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine chick peas and hot sauce in a food processor or high speed blender until smooth.
- Stir chick pea mixture into chicken until all chicken is well coated with sauce.
- Transfer mixture into a lightly greased 1 quart baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top of the mixture and bake for 25-30 minutes until mixture is warmed through and cheese is melted.
- Remove and serve immediately with organic tortilla chips, celery or carrot sticks.
