4 hours (in the freezer) and 10 minutes (active time)
YIELDS:
4 people
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups watermelon, cubed and seeds removed
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons maple syrup
DIRECTIONS:
1) Start by cutting your watermelon into cubes and removing any seeds. You can use seedless watermelon to make this step easier.
2) Place the watermelon cubes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely frozen.
3) Transfer the watermelon cubes to a blender or food processor once they are frozen. Add the lime juice and maple syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a few times to ensure everything is evenly blended.
4) You can serve the sorbet immediately for a soft-serve texture. For a firmer sorbet, transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours.
