If you don’t have a high-speed blender like a Vitamix, add liquid and greens first until smooth. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until desired consistency.
Feel free to experiment with different fruits and vegetables. Ideally, you want to move to a 3:1 ratio – greens to fruits. However, move to that ratio slowly and you will actually enjoy your smoothies. I often add cinnamon or ginger to my true ‘green’ smoothies to give it a kick!
