Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 can chick peas, rinsedBuffalo Chicken Dip
  • ½ cup hot sauce (Franks or other)
  • 2 cups shredded organic chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine chick peas and hot sauce in a food processor or high speed blender until smooth.
  3. Stir chick pea mixture into chicken until all chicken is well coated with sauce.
  4. Transfer mixture into a lightly greased 1 quart baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle cheese over the top of the mixture and bake for 25-30 minutes until mixture is warmed through and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove and serve immediately with organic tortilla chips, celery or carrot sticks.
